New Product Layout

30 Nov

Wow Kaszazz has been bringing out new products so often it’s left me spinning!  At our last national team training one of the workshops was this cute as can be layout (2H690) with the new papers and rub ons.

Though this layout is geared towards baby’s or kid’s photos it’s also perfect for animals too.  I adore the colour scheme on this one.  That’s my little Clemantyne and Charlie boy posing for the camera.

There are some beautiful new papers and you can check out the latest catalog right here.  Loads of new stamps, embellishments and the brand spanking new Ezy-Press die cutting machine!  Here’s a link to the you tube videos to show you how it works.

Puppy Love

29 Nov

How y’all doin’?  I’ve been watching too many episodes of True Blood methinks!  I started this layout a very long time ago and didn’t really know what I was doing with it so it sat in the UFO pile for a while until I decided enough was enough.

That’s our darling Bella doing what she does best….not much!  You really can’t go past the old pink + purple colour combo :)

thinking… christmas cards

27 Nov

It’s not too late to think about making your own Christmas cards.   Really, if you pull your socks up and hop to it you should have just enough time!

At a previous team training day we made these gorgeous blue and gold cards using some of the new Christmas stamps.  This is Kaszazz workshop 2H662.

I love seeing cards make in non tradition Christmas colours.  I have ear marked a couple of workshops I want to try out and I really need to get moving on them.

Here’s a couple of links to get us all inspired:

Alicia’s Creative Space – using new Kaszazz stamps

Scrap Knack - using Perfect Pearls

Bwokie – a variety of cards from a team training day

Mel Stampz – this site is full of gorgeous paper crafts with detailed instructions

Here’s some of my past Christmas creations:

embossed cards

glitter and design adhesives

cards and ornaments

more decorations

Have you started making your cards yet?  Maybe you’ve finished and posted them?  Pop a link to your cards in the comments so we can all have a squiz!

Easter Ham Layout

25 Nov

Here is a recent layout I whipped up…

A few years back a friend of ours came to spend Easter with us and brought this massive ham.  I’ve never seen such a big ham in my life.  It almost didn’t fit in our wee fridge!  I wanted to get in the Easter spirit but keep the layout fresh looking and to me pink, blue and yellow really represent Easter.  I’ve been going through my stash like it’s my own scrapbook store and picking out materials that I’ve been hoarding and putting them to use.  I’ve had that aqua felt trim for years so I was rather chuffed to be able to incorporate it here.

Stay tuned for more layouts and projects – I have a few to upload :)
