Kaszazz NTTD and New Products & Workshops Jan 2010

9 Feb

You might want a cuppa or glass of wine…this may be a long post!

I’ve got plenty of photos of our National Team Training Day in Bendigo to share.  Kaszazz released a new flyer in January jam packed with exciting new products.  There are also tonnes more workshop projects to choose from too.  To view the Kaszazz catalogue or new January flyer online just hop on over here and start making out your wish list hee hee.  If you want to check out all the new workshops available just click here to flick through them all.  Wow there are some gorgeous products and even more gorgeous (if that’s possible) projects!

Let’s just jump straight in with the pic’s…

If this looks familiar it’s because this workshop is on the cover of our new catalogue.  I love the fresh fun look and the polka dots of course.  This sample was made by the lovely Julie from Bendigo.  Most of these photos will be projects made by Julie or Deanne.  They did such an awesome job coordinating and running the day.

Kaszazz released some fantastic wedding and romance theme stamps including many that are perfect for wedding invitations.  This is a wedding stationery workshop and it almost makes me want to tie the knot again even though I said I never would.  So that’s just a hint of my papercrafting obsession right there isn’t it?  I love the modern composition of black, silver and purple, it’s just so swanky baby.

Here’s Jessie and I hard at work (yeah right!) making the first workshop as seen below.  It’s always fantastic to catch up with other consultants at training especially when we’ve all become good friends.  Many consultants like Jess live far away from their teams so it’s a great opportunity to get together and play.

Now please tell me in the comments what you think of these cards?  Some of the consultants thought they were a bit dark and goth, hee hee, but I really like them.  They are so different to the usual wedding card style you see in the shops.  The red parts are distress embossing powder which is, let me say, a challenge to use the first couple of times!

This is the lovely Nadia and Kaylene who are part of our team but unfortunately we don’t get to see as often as they are from Melbourne.  Training days for me are as much about socializing as getting to play with new products!

Here’s another wedding stationary workshop created by the uber talented Naomi Elliot.  This one uses silver, grey and black for an elegant look.  Love the place card.

This is the Romance Bling Card Making Kit and is such great value at $24.95.  You can make around 14 cards from this kit (not all cards pictured) and I love the designs so much I bought a kit for myself.  One of those rainy day projects I think.

More consultants I enjoyed catching up with, Di and Lyn.  Deanne is in the background making sure everyone is okay.  Good job De!

This Romance Frame-it was the second workshop we made and so easy too.  Kaszazz brought out a range of sticky bling words which are perfect for off the page projects as well as titles on scrapbooking layouts.  I was so proud of myself as I actually finished both workshops at NTTD (except for adding the photo at home).  This is a first for me as I usually get stressed and cranky and end up taking my projects home to shove in the cupboard!  I think it was because the day was just so easy going and hassle free, there was plenty of time to get everything done and no last minute rush.

These cute cards were made up by Julie using the one of the new silhouette stamps – Monica.  Aren’t they cool and funky?  Gotta love glitter on dresses!

This Love and Romance workshop sample was made up by Deanne and features some fancy folding on the cards.  These would be great for Valentines day, engagements, weddings and anniversaries too.

All three of these projects were created by consultants for a little competition we had.  There are some mighty talented people out there.  I especially love the cards, I think the colour combo is divine.  I did make a project too but I don’t think I’ve photographed it yet.  I will upload it in a future post.

So there you have it, Kaszazz National Team Training Day in a very large nutshell!  Our next NTTD will be in May so if you are interested in joining Kaszazz you can come along and be part of the fun – no strings attached.  If you’d like to take a look at what we do at training before May you are also welcome to attend a monthly team training, just drop me a line for more information krismarr(at)iprimus(dot)com(dot)au

So do you have any favorites in this post?  Let me know via the comment section.

New Kaszazz Catalogue!

19 May

You weren’t expecting that one were you?  You can check out the new catalogue right here.  Be sure to take a peek at the card on page 173; it’s made by yours truly!  Woo hoo I’m in the catalogue!

There’s loads of lovely new goodies including two new paper ranges; Life’s a Beach and World Traveller, new co-ordinating rub ons and stamps as well as a gorgeous new alphabet stamp set called Carnival.  My Wish List is filling fast let me tell you!

You may notice in the new catalogue some price changes; a few things have gone up a little and some have come down, also a few products have been deleted due to lack of supply and manufacturer discontinuation.

Now don’t panic  folks you can still order from the old catalogue for a very limited time so make a coffee/pour a glass of wine, get out your old catalogue and grab your mouse.  Spend a little time checking if things on your wish are missing from the new catalogue and move them to high priority!

At this stage I will be placing one more order from the old catalogue and the bonus is that you can also order new items at the same time.  If you would like to order something from the old catalogue please email or call me before this Thursday [21st May] night.

National Training was a blast, especially as I has Katherine (my S-I-L & downline) with me.  We made two new workshops, Life’s a Beach Envelope Cards and Life’s a Beach Layout using the new papers and stamps.  The L.A.B. papers are bright and funky with wicked lined reverse sides.  I can see great potential for these.  I’ll update this with photo’s once I get organised.

I was spoilt with stamps; Sharynne and Deanne gave me my belated birthday presents – two new release stamps and we also got the new Hibiscus stamp as our thank you gift!  And yesterday I came home to find a lovely package full of all the new papers from Kaszazz, my reward for being an active consultant in the last four months.  All I had to do was achieve sales of $350 in each of those months, easy peasy. I love all the little extras that you get from being a consultant.  If you’d like the same opportunities give me a call and I’ll send you a no obligation Info Pack.  There is never any pressure with Kaszazz and that is one of the reasons I joined.

Ok if you are keen to organise a workshop get together with your friends hop on over here to see the latest 2H workshops and 5PQ’s.  I’ll also be running some new workshops from home so I’ll keep you posted.

Phew that’s a lot of info, I’ll leave you now to digest all of that.  If you have any questions please don’t hesitate to get in touch.

Chalks last stand {day 5}

15 May

TGIF!  Here is the last chalk project::

Chalk day 5

Chalk day 5

This little number was made with our pals Perfect Medium and chalk on black card.  For the little “photo” corners I used a rubber ahem eraser (sounds nicer right?), I also chalked the edges of the base card to soften it and add interest.  It’s those suble treatments that make all the difference don’t you think?  And if you think you are seeing rubber burn – you’re right!  It’s deliberate [of course] as I didn’t want it looking all perfect, it needed to be grunged up a bit.  Also I didn’t have matching ribbon so I used Fluid Chalk ink to tint it mauve.  Hurrah.  And a sparkly cherry on top!

I hope you had fun following me this week in my chalk inspired crafting.  If you’ve been breaking out the chalks leave a link in the comments below so we can check out your creations too.  No blog?  Just email me the photo evidence and I can post it up here for you.

Make sure to tune in on Monday for a Brand New Product of the Week.  Yippee!

Tonight I have a little workshop running at my house [cheeky cards] and tomorrow is National Training.  all.  day.  long.  Waahoo can you tell I’m happy about this?  Stay tuned as there will be a New Kaszazz Product Release with brand new workshops too.

Can’t wait.

Can’t wait.

Can’t wait.

p.s. TGIF not because of chalks – but because I love Fridays – gateway to the weekend!

p.p.s. this is the last post you can leave a comment on to go into the draw for this weeks projects; hop to it!!

Congratulations

27 Apr

I just wanted to say a big CONGRATS to Katherine my sister-in-law and downline consultant for doing her first Make and Take Demo all by herself on the weekend!  As nerve wracking as that first one is, it gets easier every time and your confidence will soar.

I look forward to our crop night this Friday with Sharynne and giving you more training and support.  And I’m excited that you are coming to National Training – it’s going to be a blast!

Good on you Katherine for taking the first step to a fantastic, fulfilling and bright future.  You go girl!

“Trust yourself. Create the kind of self that you will be happy to live with all your life. Make the most of yourself by fanning the tiny, inner sparks of possibility into flames of achievement.”  – Foster C. Mcclellan

PS everyone make sure to come back tomorrow for something very special – and exciting!

Back to online craft escapades!

19 Apr

Hello folks

I made it back alive from the no-internet world.  It just goes to show how much we depend in the (I’m tired see random below) on the web these days – when your connection is down it’s like the end of the world for some people.  Not so much for me but I do prefer it working that’s for sure.

Training

This Saturday we had Kaszazz Consultant training with the lovely Deanne and Sharynne.  It’s always great to catch up with the other consultants too, a special shout out to Jess, Cathy and Julie-ann howdy girls!  Don’t ask me why I’m writing with a US accent, it may have something to do with James watching Amercian Choppers at full noise.  I think he’s a little hard of hearing these days.

Back to the training…We used the Curvy Cutter for the 2H079 Gelati Circle-It workshop.  The Curvy Cutter ahh cuts circles.  Was that obvious?  Hee hee.  I’ve had mine for a very long time, since acheiving my TIP (target incentive program) when I joined, however I’m embarrassed to admit this was the first time it came out of it’s packaging.  After getting over the fear of using it I found it to be surprising simple to use.  It does require a glass cutting mat which we do sell so that’s on my next wishlist now.  The layout is very easy once you’ve had a go at cutting circles and become comfortable with the cutter.  I didn’t have photo’s to finish mine so no picture posting for you at this stage.  Don’t worry I’ll make sure it doesn’t get lost in the back of the cupboard like some ahem workshop projects have!

I’d like to mention to you all that we have a National Training Day coming up in May and if you are at all interested in or considering joining Kaszazz you are more than welcome to come along.  Here’s the details…

Date: Saturday May 16th 2009

Time: 10am til 4pm

Place: Shepparton (venue to be announced)

Cost: $30

What it’s all about: It’s all about fun really!  There will be an excting May new products release (see it before anyone else does) and we will complete two brand new workshops; one card making, one scrapbooking.  There will be a business presentation which is always inspiring and you will get to meet and mingle with lots of other consultants throughout the day.  You will also get a FREE gift to say thanks for coming.

RSVP: There isn’t much time to dilly dally on this one so let me know if you’d love to come by April 26th.

BYO: We always bring our tool kit which is your basic tools like paper trimmer, adhesives, scissors and so on.  Don’t worry if yours aren’t from Kaszazz, we will let you off the hook and if you don’t have a basic tool kit just let me know and I’ll lend you everything you need for the day.  You can choose to bring your lunch or pop down to the nearly shop to grab something.  Tea and coffee will be provided.

It’s a great day out with the girls and super value (2 workshops for $30) and there is no pressure to join afterwards if you decide it’s not for you.  Don’t get me wrong I would love you to join my team but only if it’s right for you.  So what are you waitin’ for?  Give me a call on 0400 576 190 or email me your details at krismarr(at)iprimus(dot)com(dot)au and start getting excited!

Scrappin’

Well I’ve submitted that 5PQ that I was talking about a few posts back, can’t wait to hear if it’s been accepted.  I’m really proud of it, they 5 projects just look soooo good, not to brag or anything ha.  Now I’m keen to get started on a few more creations.  In the meantime though I whizzed up a cute little card for a cute little girls birthday on Saturday and now I’m thinking it would make a great Mate & Take project…

bfly-mt The colour is a bit funky and I don’t know if you mind the softened edges or not but it’s a cute little card right?  Pretty quick and easy, great for a last minute “oops I forgot to make a card” moment.  Oh and that’s my new butterfly punch I got in my order the other day.  I love punches.

And this is one I whipped up a few days back.  It’s me and little Cooper showing off our chubby cheeks.  He may outgrow his but I certainly didn’t!  (sorry about the flash spot still learing how to erase unsightly areas in elements).

chubba

So what do you think?  Honestly?  It’s a totally different look that my usual and I’m still unsure about it myself…there’s a lot of white…hmmmm?  All products used are available through me from Kaszazz of course!  Loving those shield pages.

I got lots of goodies in that order, new star stamps both 2step and 3 step, the love and cherish set and some more paint dabbers; pink sherbet and pearl which looks amazing.  Will have to make time for a play with everything.

Just realised I never posted a photo of my Family Mini Brag Book workshop that was accepted and published by Kaszazz…ta  da
