Blog War: food/recipe theme }3

2 Oct

It’s Friday woo hoo hooooooo!  Yeah!  Is there anyone out there that does not lurve the weekend?  I have a nice weekend planned of relaxing, scrapping, cuddling puppies, reading, movies and maybe some gardening if it doesn’t rain.  Sounds good doesn’t it?  I may even throw in some baking too.  We’ll see – no pressure to do anything is a great feeling!  So what do you have planned for this weekend?  Any craft projects you’ve been dying to do?

Here is my third project for this weeks challenge; a fab little card for your fave gal pal!

I love using Kaszazz’s oatmeal cardstock, it goes with everything like the perfect handbag hee hee!  The scallops are made by lining up punched circles, a neat trick hey?

I had planned to do a recipe card but didn’t quite get there however not to leave you too empty handed here is some fabulous work by two peas members…

Isn’t this layout fun?  It’s by scrappinpsycho and you can see more of her work here.  Her work is very clean and really keeps the focus on the photos.

And how about this gorgeous layout about yummy autumn (fall) baking?  You can almost taste the goodies that HelpMeRhonda has photographed!  Click here to see more of her contemporary style.

And check out this kool-as recipe book by Katie Watson.  I’m lovin’ the retro stylings!  Click here to see more photos of inside the book.  I want one!!!

Head on over to Two Peas whenever you need some inspiration – there are so many talented, creative peeps there that you are sure to feel spurred on to make something!  And if you’ve made a food or recipe themed project lately be sure to leave a comment below and a link so we can all have a bow peep!

And don’t forget that Kaszazz has some fantastic foodie/recipe stamps for all your creative needs.  With the help of these stamps you can make your owns recipe books, cards and boxes, not to mention add them to your fun food theme layouts!  How about making recipe books as Christmas gifts?  Or organising a recipe card swap?  Check them out in the July 09 flyer on page 4.

Have a great weekend everybody
